Biography of Olivier
Born in 1961 in Switzerland, Franco-Swiss author Olivier Clerc presently lives in Burgundy, France. Trained in philosophy, he is a writer, translator and editorial consultant, specialized in the study and development of consciousness. Olivier is the author of 8 books. The first, about lucid dreaming, was written when he was barely 21. His best-seller Invaluable Lessons from a Frog: seven life-enhancing metaphors (www.lessonsfromafrog.com) has been translated in 9 languages. Olivier has given numerous lectures and workshops around the topics of his books, in various countries.
His last book, The Gift of Forgiveness (www.giftofforgiveness.net), available in 6 languages, shares with the world the unique ritual of forgiveness Don Miguel Ruiz bestowed on him when they met in Teotihuacan, in 1999. He is now leading ritual-workshops on forgiveness in various countries in Europe and America.
Olivier Clerc has also crossed paths with many famous authors and teachers whose books he has translated and published into French, and with whom he often trained. Among them are Marshall Rosenberg, founder of Non-Violent Communication, Toltec Wisdom teacher Don Miguel Ruiz (The Four Agreements), Robert Monroe, Deepak Chopra, Byron Katie, Neale Donald Walsch, Stanislav Grof, Sandra Ingerman, and many others.
